After a lot of thought I decided it was time for a new project, one I would enjoy and a project that would be useful for a long time.
Searching the web and reading articles I found the ErgoDox.
The ErgoDox is a split-hand ergonomic keyboard with mechanical switches and open source, layer-based firmware running on a Teensy microcontroller. While other keyboards offer dip-switches or GUI config tools, the firmware and layouts can be built from source on the command line or through a layout configuration tool. Flashing a new build onto the ErgoDox is easy with the multi-platform Teensy loader.
I immediately got interested and after searching a bit more I ordered the kit at Falbatech. Unfortunately they do not supply the keycaps, so I ordered them from Signature Plastics.

Today the classic, and old, Common Desktop Environment (a.k.a. CDE) was
released into the Open Source world.
You can get the very alpha version at
SourceForge.
I haven't been able to get a running version by now, but I keep
trying.
Good job, guys.
A very long time ago, when I was still studying computer science I had a HP15C
calculator. And I realy loved it. Unfortunately it was stolen and I couldn't
afford to buy a new one. I ended up using a Casio FX602p. A very, very good
calculator, but it's not a HP15C.
Last Friday I was discussing old times with a nerd like me and we ended up
discussing calculators and what the heck, he had used the HP15C as well and
hated HP for stopping to sell it, as wel as I do.
So I started digging the internet and this is what I found:

A HP15C emulator for Linux, Mac OSX and Windows. I use this one now at a very
regular basis and I really love it.
If you want to give it a try, look at Torstens
site and, please, give Torsten a heads up.
If you are using IE6 Microsoft wants us to put this on our website:

Then, if you click it, you are forwarded to the IE8 website.
Click on the image if you really want to upgrade your browser.
The WikiLeaks site cannot be reached. This is because their
free DNS provider everydns.com
removed the DNS records.
The last IP address was 213.251.145.96
, but nobody is answering the http
requests.
Looks like they where shutdown.
HP has got something new again: HP ePrint.
This surely comes from the 'Useless inventions department'.
What is ePrint?
This lets you print from virtually everywhere. One of the ways that ePrint
works is to assign an email address to your printer. To print, simply send an
email containing your document to your printer's address. You can print images,
Microsoft Word, Excel* and PowerPoint documents, PDFs, and photos. You can view
and manage print jobs sent to your printer using your printer Job History that
is available on HP ePrintCenter.
The following email clients have been tested by HP ePrint:
- Outlook 2003, 2007
- Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail
- Apple Mail (iPhone, iPad, Macbook, MacbookPro)
- BlackBerry mail client
- Nokia/Symbian client (Nokia)
To bad Mutt isn't in this list.
First thing I wondered when I read this is: HP ePrint: What is wrong with lpr
and lp and RFC 1179?
I think I jump to the disable
section right away and I'm glad my printer doesn't support it
Today the first First North Korean website is online and if you want to see it,
go to http://175.45.176.68. They do not have DNS yet.
A second server is up and running and this one can be reached at
https://175.45.176.7. The certificate is a nice and
funny one.
To bad they did't get a real one.
On the German eBay i found a lot of these.
Buy my iPod/iPhone/etc packaging. Nothing in it,
just the box.
I still have got a lot of them in the attic, so maybe I should
open an eBay account

I had heard of it before, but someway it has slipped my mind. But purely by
accident I came across BrainFuck
again.
Maybe a nice project for a sunny afternoon.
Being a blood donor since 1982 I have been donating blood on a regular basis. Today I reached the milestone, that I'm very happy about. I donated blood 100 times. This equals 50 litres of blood in total.
I would like to urge you all: Please give. It doesn't cost you anything but a little time and you help a lot of people. So: Give
